Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ medium onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 3 cups chopped cabbage
- 15 ounces canned diced tomatoes
- 8 ounces canned tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar
- Minced parsley for garnish
Instructions
Brown the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook while breaking it apart with a spatula until it begins to brown.Add Onion and Garlic:

Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the cabbage has softened to your preferred texture.Add Cheese and Finish:
Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top. Let the casserole sit uncovered for 5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
Garnish and Serve:
